Throughout Church history, revival has resulted in equality and unity. However, this unity is not something created by man’s endeavors, but is created by the Spirit of God through the bonds of peace. The Jewish Temple designated distinct separations between people: Jews from gentiles, men from women, priest from laity. In our day, walls of race, gender, economics, and doctrine divide the Church. Christ has provided an answer to these divisions.
In Ephesians, the Apostle Paul explains the heart of the gospel that Christ has torn down the dividing walls that separate us from each other and from the Father bringing peace in place of hostility. Christ made all believers equal heirs of God and partakers of the promise of Christ through the gospel. He identifies this “one new man” as the mystery of Christ.
In The Mystery of Christ, Charity Cook shows us how Jesus tore down the dividing walls that separate us from each other and the Father. In the midst of revival, we can expect to see the Kingdom of peace established on the earth. Christ brings unity to the Church creating a place for revival fires to kindle and explode. As you listen to this teaching, be ignited with revival fire as you go out into this world in the bonds of peace.
