From early in their Christian walk, Michael and Andrea Brewer had a desire to give their lives for the sake of the Gospel through ministering to the needs of widows, orphans and the poor. With only a few dollars in their pocket, they set out in faith to impact the nation of Haiti with the love of Christ. They experienced personal tragedy, overwhelming obstacles and unrelenting opposition. Even enduring the incredible devastation from the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Michael and Andrea have remained faithful to the call of God upon their lives.
You will be gripped with sadness as they recount the agonies that tested their faith and awed by the testimonies of God’s supernatural provision. The fruit of their faithfulness has been a church-planting movement with the planting of hundreds of churches both in Haiti and in Asia. The model they employ, “finding the man of peace,” has been found to be duplicable in any culture. Their church-plants are led by indigenous believers between the ages of 18 and 24.
